Spring Seminar 2026

ASIS UK Spring Seminar: A Day Focused on the Next Generation

The ASIS UK Spring Seminar at X + Y Fivefields brought together professionals from across the industry for a day that was as engaging as it was thought-provoking. Expertly chaired by Tim Molden, the sessions flowed seamlessly, creating space for both learning and meaningful discussion.

We opened with welcome remarks from our new Chair, Stephen Ackroyd, setting the tone for the year ahead and reinforcing the importance of continued collaboration across the security community.

A particular highlight of the day was recognising achievement within our network. Congratulations were given to all new ASIS certificate holders - an important milestone that reflects both professional commitment and the growing standard of excellence within our industry. We also celebrated James Willison on being awarded lifetime membership, a well-deserved recognition of his longstanding contribution.

The theme of the day—NextGen—was clear throughout. From emerging voices to established leaders sharing their journeys, we saw a genuine commitment to supporting, developing, and elevating the next generation of security professionals. It wasn’t just spoken about; it was demonstrated in the room, in the conversations, and in the willingness to invest time and energy into those coming through.

Sessions throughout the day offered practical insight, fresh perspectives, and honest reflections on where the industry is heading. Whether it was intelligence pathways, behavioural risk, or career development, the learning was grounded, relevant, and immediately applicable.
