What is the Armed Forces Covenant?

The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge to ensure that serving personnel, veterans, and their families are treated fairly and receive the support they deserve. It recognises the sacrifices made by those who serve in the UK Armed Forces and seeks to remove disadvantages they may face in civilian life. The Covenant is backed by businesses, local authorities, and organisations across the UK, all committed to supporting the Armed Forces community.

Our Commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

The ASIS UK Chapter is proud to uphold the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating our commitment to:

  • Supporting veterans and reservists in their transition to civilian careers, particularly within the security sector.

  • Providing opportunities for training and professional development, helping ex-service personnel apply their skills in the security industry.

  • Recognising the value of military experience, ensuring that service members and their families receive fair treatment in employment and business opportunities.

  • Encouraging wider industry participation, promoting the Covenant’s principles across the security sector.

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, ASIS UK reaffirms its dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment where veterans and service personnel can thrive in the security profession.
