At the October 2025 Board Meeting of the Chartered Security Professionals Registration Authority, Richard Stevens CPP CSyP signed a new licensee contract on behalf of ASIS UK.
The Foreign Influence Registration Scheme (FIRS), introduced under the National Security Act, is now fully operational following a three-month grace period. As of 1 October 2025, individuals and organisations acting in the UK on behalf of foreign states must be registered - or risk criminal prosecution and prison sentences of up to five years.
