Speaker: Jasmine Palmer-Garrick, Global Protect Risk
Jasmine is a Junior Intelligence Analyst currently undertaking the Leaders in Security Graduate Apprenticeship Scheme. With two years of experience in the security industry, her work focuses on threat monitoring and open-source investigations, supporting clients in identifying and understanding emerging risks. During the programme, she has gained experience across a range of security disciplines including protective security assessments, physical penetration testing, technical surveillance counter-measures, and intelligence analysis. Jasmine is particularly interested in the accessibility of information in the digital age and how fragmented open-source data can be analysed and contextualised to build a coherent intelligence picture.
Speaker: Jake Bean, Buro Happold
Jake has been a physical security consultant with Buro Happold since 2022, specialising in risk assessement security strategy, and the protection of people, assets and infrastructure within the built environment.
Panel Moderator: Matt Blake, Managing Director, LMS Security
Matt brings a background in both physical and electronic security, having worked extensively with system integrators before moving into consultancy. As Managing Director of LMS Security Advisors, he now helps shape the next generation of security professionals through the Leaders in Security programme, developing talent and driving forward industry capability.

Director of Cyber Security, Toro Solutions
Katie is a tenacious cybersecurity leader with fifteen years of IT experience, grounded in legal training and former practice as a commercial solicitor. She has led IT and security operations across commercial, academic, and media sectors, including delivering government supply chain assurance programmes in both the UK and the US. Her work bridges technical leadership, governance, and strategic risk management.

Director of Physical Security & Risk, Toro Solutions
Gavin is one of the UK’s leading physical security experts, with over twenty years’ experience designing and delivering risk‑based security solutions across corporate, residential, manufacturing, and critical national infrastructure environments. A recognised contributor to security standards and a SABRE Registered Assessor, he regularly authors and speaks on physical and converged security. His focus centres on safeguarding people, assets, and reputation through intelligence‑led security design and assurance.
Speaker: Philip Baum, Managing Director & Visiting Professor at Greenlight Limited & Coventry University
Recipient of the 2021 Lifetime Achievement and Contribution to Aviation Security award, Philip’s professional journey began in 1980s with Trans World Airlines. In 1996, he founded Green Light, a consultancy focussing on behavioural analysis and inflight security. He developed (and chairs) the Behavioural Analysis series (next: Krakow, Sept) and DISPAX World (addressing unruly passengers) conferences - both designed to share best practice and bridge gap between academia and security practitioners. Visiting Professor of Aviation Security at Coventry University, former Editor of 'Aviation Security International' for 24 years and author, 'Violence in the Skies: a history of aircraft hijacking and bombing'.
Speaker: Georgina Bradley, Sidney Cat Ltd
During a short break from policing, Georgina successfully auditioned for The Heist on Sky One. She has since featured in six television productions, most notably appearing as Head of Operations on Hunted and Celebrity Hunted
