Summer Seminar 2026

On 11 June 2026, security professionals from across the United Kingdom gathered at the exceptional Fulham Pier in London for the ASIS UK Chapter Summer Seminar.

Set against the backdrop of the Thames, Fulham Pier proved to be a superb venue for the event, providing a modern, professional setting that encouraged learning, networking and meaningful discussion throughout the day. The seminar brought together practitioners from across corporate security, intelligence, risk management, technology, crisis management and resilience, reflecting the breadth and diversity of today's security profession.

Chapter Announcements

The Summer Seminar also provided an opportunity to recognise several important leadership transitions within the ASIS UK Chapter.

After years of dedicated service to the chapter, Steven Ackroyd formally stepped down as Chapter Chair. Steven has played an important role in guiding the chapter's growth, strengthening member engagement and helping shape the direction of ASIS UK over recent years. On behalf of the entire chapter, we extend our sincere thanks for his commitment and leadership.

Following Steven's departure, Farah Benis has been appointed as Interim Chapter Chair, providing continuity while the chapter prepares for future elections and continuing to drive forward member engagement, professional development and Next Gen initiatives.

The chapter also recognised the contribution of Stuart Nash, who stepped down from the role of Treasurer after many years of service. Stuart's stewardship and commitment behind the scenes have been invaluable to the chapter's success.

We are pleased to welcome Robert Wilson into the Treasurer position and look forward to working with him as he joins the Executive Committee.

The chapter also recognised the ongoing contribution of Tim Molden, who has stepped into the Vice Chair role and continues to provide invaluable support to the chapter during this transition period.
