Certified Protection Professional (CPP™)

The ASIS CPP™ certification is the pre-eminent internationally recognised credential in security management.  There are over 6,000 CPP™s worldwide, of which the UK Chapter boasts over 100.  Application for the CPP examination, for which candidates must satisfy certain eligibility criteria, is made direct to ASIS International using the on-line form at:

2008 examinations for the CPP™ will take place 3 May 2008 and 1 November 2008, hosted by ARC Training.

The examination is difficult to pass without attending a guided study programme, and these are provided on behalf of the Chapter by the ARC Training International Academy for Security Management, as follows:

For the May Examination:

Enrol at beginning of January 2008 
Mid-January to April: Tutor-Led Distance Learning
28 April – 2 May: Intensive Classroom Study Programme
3 May:  Examination

For the November Examination:

Enrol by end of June 2008
July to October: Tutor-Led Distance Learning
27 – 31 October: Intensive Classroom Study Programme
1 November:  Examination
